The IP addresses tab on your server lists every IP assigned to it. Open it to see each address, its type, and its reverse-DNS status.
Your addresses
- Each row shows the IP, whether it's IPv4 or IPv6, and a copy button.
- Your main address is marked Primary — it's the one shown in the server header and the one you'll usually connect to.
Reverse DNS (PTR)
Where your server's provider supports it, you can set a reverse-DNS (PTR) hostname per address: click Edit next to an IP, enter a fully-qualified hostname such as mail.example.com, and save. Leave it blank and save to clear it. This matters most for mail servers — see "Configuring reverse DNS (PTR records)" for the detail.
If reverse DNS isn't offered for a server, the tab says so — "Reverse DNS isn't available from this server's provider" — and the edit option is hidden. That's a limit of where the server is hosted, not something you've done wrong.
