Sharing access to your server

Invite others to help manage a server, with fine-grained permissions you control.

Updated 22 July 2026

You can let other people help manage a server without handing over your account. Sharing is managed from the server's Settings tab, and is available to the server owner.

Inviting someone

Invite a person from within your account environment and choose exactly what they may do. Permissions are granted individually:

  • View — see the server, its status and details.
  • Power — start, stop and restart it.
  • Console — open the remote console.
  • Reinstall — reinstall the OS and use rescue mode.
  • Network — edit reverse DNS on its IP addresses.

The person you invite accepts the invitation to gain access. From then on they see only the controls their permissions allow — everything else stays hidden.

Revoking access

You can revoke someone's access at any time from the same Settings tab. As the owner you always keep full control, and every shared action is recorded in the server's Activity history.
